Keira Knightley would make her first U.S. television debut in “Neverland”, a four-hour miniseries which is due to air on SyFy in December. However, she won’t appear in real-life size for only her voice will fill the character Tinker Bell. Deadline said she would record her role this spring.

“Neverland” is a prequel of Peter Pan’s adventure wrapped as a live-action project. It stars Rhys Ifans as Jimmy Hook, mentor of Peter and other young pickpockets who would like to snatch a magical orb which transports them to another world – Neverland. Filled with white jungles and imposing cities formed out of trees created by Dr. Fludd and inhabited by a colony of tree spirits led by Tinker Bell, this mysterious realm welcomes unknown friends and enemies snatched from time.

Charlie Rowe takes the role of Peter, supported by Anna Friel as power-mad Elizabeth Bonny, and Raoul Trujillo as Holy Man.

Keira Knightley seems to have left Robert Pattinson at the altar.

David Cronenberg is having a hell of a time getting “Cosmopolis” off the ground. First, Colin Farrell left the adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel to do “Total Recall,” and then Marion Cotillard left to have a baby (hmph!).

Robert Pattinson has since replaced Farrell in the lead role of a young billionaire who ends up having the adventure of a lifetime when he attempts to get from one side of Manhattan to the other simply to get a haircut.

Keira Knightley, who’s starring in Cronenberg’s upcoming “A Dangerous Method,” had apparently stepped in to take over for Cotillard… and now it seems that’s not the case, according to Up and Comers.

In fact, it looks like Knightley had never really been officially attached to the production at all. Someone jumped the gun and put Knightley’s name on the production company’s website and… well, it just kind of stuck.

Until now, that is.

Production on “Cosmopolis” is currently scheduled to begin in March, which doesn’t leave Cronenberg much time to find Pattz a bride — and one who will stick around for a while, at that.
