Beat

Despite avid rumors and reports that Keira herself suffers from Anorexia, she has donated £6,000 pounds to the charity 'Beat' which offer information and help on many eating disorders including Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa and bing eating. Beat is the organisation that campaigns, that challenges the stigma people with eating disorders face, and that gives people the help and support they need.

Charity Projects Entertainment Fund

CPEF is a United States based charitable organisation that aims to raise funds and awareness to help combat extreme poverty in the United States and throughout the world, particularly in Africa. They use the power of entertainment to deliver social benefits to some of the poorest, most marginalized and vulnerable people in the world.

Oxfam

Oxfam is a world wide organization, and perhaps the most known charity there is. Oxfams main aim is to work towards finding lasting solutions to poverty, suffering and injustice. Last year Keira donated the claret-colored gown that she wore for the Oscars to Oxfam. The gown, created by Vera Wang, went up for auction on Ebay beginning April 21 and ending on April 30. Proceeds raised by the auction went towards the East African food crisis appeal. “I have seen the TV reports on the horrendous drought in East Africa and I know how desperate things have become, so I am happy to be able to do something to help.”
